The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) exists for one reason
- animals worldwide desperately need their help.
To achieve the WSPA vision - a world where animal welfare matters and
animal cruelty ends - the UN-recognised charity works with hundreds of
animal protection groups around the world to raise the standard of
international animal welfare.
WSPA takes action against animal cruelty by exposing animal abuse and
enforcing stronger laws, and provides rescue teams to save abandoned or
neglected animals or those stricken by disasters.
To break the cycle of cruelty, WSPA's education programmes are changing
hearts and minds so animals receive the respect and compassion they deserve.
