You’ll soon have the opportunity to join the fastest growing humane chain to help put a stop to the cruelty of Live Export in Australia.

Live export sees Australian sheep spend nearly four terrifying weeks on a crowded ship. With around three sheep to every square metre, there is little room to move, and an unfamiliar diet of pellets means many animals may not eat for the entire journey. Others will perish from disease, stress, heat exhaustion and injury.

For sheep that survive the journey, a much crueller fate awaits them in the hands of a country with few animal welfare laws.

There will be many ways you’ll be able to support the WSPA-led campaign and in doing so, help us make a huge impact on the lives of Australian sheep. One way is to contact your local MP - either in person, by phone, email or letter. Another is to help spread the word among family and friends so we get as many people behind us as possible. Or going wider still, you could contact your local newspapers to ensure the campaign stays in the public arena and the welfare of millions of animals is protected.
